Dr Benjamin Benz from Basel completed his medical studies at the University of Basel. After his basic training in surgery (Dornach Hospital), he trained as a specialist in general internal medicine (Dornach Hospital and Cantonal Hospital Baselland, Bruderholz), followed by further training as a vascular specialist (Cantonal Hospital Baselland, Bruderholz and University Hospital Basel). During his subsequent several years as a senior physician at the University Hospital of Basel, he gained extensive experience in vein medicine as well as additional training in the invasive treatment of arterial circulatory disorders. He has been working for "Die Gefäßspezialsten" since 2024. He is married and the father of twins.
